Many of us are now delivering most or all of our work online, not only 1:1 coaching but also team coaching, workshops, conference presentations and more. Some coaches find the transition to the virtual space intimidating, and avoid working with groups online. Others simply try to work in exactly the same way they do when in person, which can create confusion or boredom for participants . The good news is that by applying a few key principles and learning specific skills, we can make our online events fresh, informative, engaging and fun!
Zora will share recommendations based on her experience of designing and leading online events since the early days of video conferencing. You will have the opportunity to try things out and start to craft your own personal online style.
Among other topics, we shall cover:
- Crafting the design of your event
- Creating your virtual circle
- Engaging an online audience
- Guiding participants to contribute effectively
- Somatic coaching in the online space
- Keeping it fun while informative
Your takeaway will be a set of principles to support you in developing your own online presentations and events, some new skills to support your success, and an idea of your own personal online style.
ICF-CO training for skills in Zoom, presentations, and online events
Many of our members have recognized the need to increase our skills in participating in, presenting, and organizing online events. And since this is what we've been living in 2020, we decided to create a forum for learning and sharing best practices!
These sessions will be recorded as free resources for ICF-CO members.

She is grateful for today’s technology... as long ago as the early 1990s she could be found in a vast video suite, coaching her clients across the oceans on a giant screen that froze every few seconds!
