To provide space which facilitates reflection, self-discovery, and re-alignment with core values. Pause. Reflect. Connect. Re-align. This group experience will be a space for participants to check-in with their “inner GPS” for guidance and directions.
Research shows that our brain works best in the following conditions:
- Outside
- Moving
- In a small group of people
(Based on
The Extended Mind: The Power of Thinking Outside the Brain by Annie Murphy Paul. Thinking with our bodies; thinking with our surroundings; and thinking with our relationships.)
We aim to recreate these conditions for a day of body-and-nature-connecting practices, followed by circles of wholehearted sharing and wholehearted witnessing/receiving.
Key Learning Points & Benefits for Participants:
• More authentic presence in your life and coaching
• Tools for connection with your inner knowing which you can use for yourself and bring to your coaching practice
• Deep listening skills
• Greater self-awareness: your dreams, desires, values, shadows and edges
• Feeling of being nourished, restored and rejuvenated
Experiential Learning Through:
Body-and-nature-connecting practices, Sharing circles, and Triad coaching
CCEs: TBD
Meeting Logistics:
One organizational zoom call in January and 4 half-day retreats on mountain property in a small group of people (8 people max).
One retreat each season: winter, spring, summer and fall.
Participants must be able to walk off-trail on a steep slope.
We’ll set back-up dates in case of inclement weather.
We will continue sharing in our Basecamp group space between meetings.
