My path to this career has been somewhat circuitous (but it's all good!!). Starting out in a career as a geoscientist, I quickly realized that even with great enthusiasm for the earth, rocks, and technology, helping others reach for the stars in their own growth and development is a true calling and incredibly rewarding. I moved from technical roles in geophysics and geology through software consulting, sales, product management, leading teams, and heading a business line at a large tech firm. Through these series of steps in my career, I became aware of the difficulties people can have in being a truly effective leader, especially when coming from a STEM background. I decided I wanted to help others to develop their people skills.

I knew I needed to skill-up, so I continued my education by obtaining a coaching certification from Columbia University, and later completed my PCC from the ICF. I also hold an Advanced Certification for the Birkman assessment, a Master Certification for 6 Team Conditions' TDS, and other certifications in the Neethling Brain Instrument (NBI), Human Synergistics’ OCI/OEI Organizational Culture Index, Culture in the Workplace, and CultureActive.
