Listen below as Stan Ajemian, ICF Colorado Education Director,
talks with Zora Boas about her topic.

This will be a hybrid meeting, so we encourage you to join us at Posner Center in Denver if you can make it! We'd love to spend some time connecting in person!

This highly interactive session is an invitation to explore what Zora calls "The Way of the Coach," a foundational shared ethos that underpins our work, whatever the level of our specialist knowledge and skills.

Designed for coaches at all stages - from newcomers to seasoned professionals - we shall inquire into the distinctive attitudes, world view, and sense of self that shape our coaching practice.

Through storytelling, guided reflection and dialogue, you will refine your awareness of the true value you bring to your clients, and expand your vision of what it means to you, to be a coach.

As a result of their engagement with the session, participants will be able to:

  • Appreciate why it is vital for coaches to ‘do less’ and ‘be more’ in order to bring the greatest benefit to their clients.
  • Refine their awareness of their own unique coaching strengths and style, whatever their level of mastery of the coaching core competencies.
  • Articulate with clarity the unique experience and value they bring to their current and future clients, and why their coaching is transformational (and not merely transactional).
  • Expand their vision of what it means to be a coach, and strengthen their grounded confidence in this identity.
  • Learn from and with other coaches with widely differing levels of coaching experience and expertise.
  • Bring more of themselves to their coaching (and more of their coaching to themselves).
