2024 NoCo (Northern Colorado) Continuing Coach Development Learning Group



Dates: 4th Thursday of each month except for July and November
Time: 7:00 - 8:30pm MT

Location: Virtual Meetings via Zoom (but may also meet in-person or hybrid, if group desires)

Minimum: 3; Maximum: 15


CCEs: 1.5 Core Competencies per group meeting you attend (TBD)

The Northern Colorado Continuing Coach Development Learning Group meets monthly via in-person or Zoom meeting format to discuss a topic relevant to coaching, then triad coaching with feedback given in a coaching format. Group meeting agenda generally includes 15 minutes of networking, 30 minutes presentation and discussion, 60 minutes of dyad or triad coaching practice (usually for 15-20 minutes each cycle, so that all or most participants can coach, be coached, and/or be the observer to provide feedback) and completing with 15 minutes of large group debrief and discussion.

Competency mentoring and practice

Increase your knowledge base as you learn special coaching techniques or tips from the various speakers

Dyad or Triad coaching with direct feedback from coach observers (in a coaching model)

Reflective coaching for the coach (case reviews)



Experiential Learning Through:

Role playing

Triad coach/coachee/observer sessions with direct feedback

Small and large group discussions

Meeting Logistics:
When in-person, meetings include a potluck meal.
Attendees may participate via Zoom as logistics allow.



Facilitator:

Dr. Donna Sullivan, MD, FAAFP is a retired Family Physician, having spent over 30 years in active teaching of young/new physicians as a full-time Faculty Physician at the Ft Collins Family Medicine Residency. She has completed 3 Leadership Fellowships (two with RIHEL), and has been an active member and leader for the Colorado Academy of Family Physicians, and subsequently the Northern Colorado Medical Society. She served as a member of the Board of Directors of both organizations for 7-10 years, and as President and Chairman of the Board for each organization as well. Dr Sullivan has been actively engaged with ICF  and coaching for 6 years and is engaged with two other Coach leaders in creating Medical Team Coaching for individual medical practices.
