From Artificial to Authentic: Practicing SHUVA for Deeper Client Connection
In an era where AI tools can simulate validation and “being seen,” coaches face a unique opportunity to highlight what only humans can truly bring: authentic connection. This session introduces SHUVA — See, Hear, Understand, Value, Appreciate — a framework that transforms conversations from surface-level validation to embodied presence. Through interactive practice and reflection, participants will directly experience how SHUVA deepens client connection. Attendees will leave with a practical tool they can immediately apply to elevate their coaching conversations.
Patty Beach, MSOD, MCC, is the CEO of LeadershipSmarts and author of The Art of Alignment: A Practical Guide to Inclusive Leadership. An ICF Master Certified Coach with over 25 years of experience, Patty equips leaders and coaches with practical tools to build trust, foster alignment, and deliver breakthrough results. She is also the creator of QuickAlign, a software platform that makes alignment practices teachable, coachable, and scalable.
Anna Bouw-Bolik
Artificial Grid vs. Humanity Square
Join us for an interactive session exploring the contrast between digital and physical connections. Participants will engage in activities that highlight the differences between online interactions and genuine real-life connections. This session aims to foster reflection on how space and movement affect our sense of connection, and to inspire participants to build meaningful relationships while recognizing the limitations that digital connections offer.
Anna Bouw-Bolik is a Certified ICF ACC Coach, PN1 Nutrition Coach, and 200 YTT yoga instructor with a passion for experiential learning and creative community building. Through her work at THINKBO Coaching, she helps individuals and groups unlock clarity, connection, and creativity in both personal and professional spaces.
You won’t want to miss an opportunity to immerse yourself in community, build connections, learn together and play with the idea of what is or can be artificial. The idea of "artificial" could certainly include things like AI, but it could also be a perspective or mindset around the way things are.
Our goal for this event is to get curious, explore and shift our ideas or perceptions of what is or can be artificial.
This is an incredible opportunity to connect with others in the community, deepen our coaching skills, and have fun!
This gathering will be richer with contributions from all of you. Please invite your coach friends (including non-members) to join in this program.
