This is an invitation to consider radical transformation in how you lead your life and lead others. We must cultivate and deepen our somatic intelligence for embodied use of self. In an era of transformative and traumatic disruptions, developing a centered presence is fundamental—a powerful presence invites authentic connection. Evolution requires courageously extending safety and belonging to others. The upheaval of 2020 resulted in a universal legacy of contraction, an internal shaping that fuels our reactive self. Rigorous and recurrent body-oriented practices re-shape and re-wire the triggered brain. When musculature, organs, fascial and central nervous systems reorganize, novel ways of "being" are accessed. Purposeful alignment of thoughts, words, and actions with what we care about results in palpable congruence, or trustworthiness. This allows us to focus on what matters most. Mastery in maintaining equanimity under pressure grows. This is the most efficacious use of self. Holding our common humanity with dignity is essential.
