BIO

Berthe (Betty) Stempfer, Ph.D., is the Founder of Nuancer Coaching. She is a cultural coach who partners with clients who want to increase their cultural intelligence for better communication and performances, or who are culturally uprooted and want to reconnect with their identity. Betty brings to the table 5 decades of living experience across Africa, Europe, and North America, including 20 years of a leadership role in the pharmaceutical industry and more recently in a multinational engineering company. She has first-hand experience with the challenges of being culturally different (mixed heritage; culture shock; female in a male dominant work environment; part of a minority).

Betty wants to raise more awareness on the "side effects" of cultural uprooting, and how coaching can help with such identity crisis and positively impact people’s well-being and life. She believes that a successful life is living by your values. Hence, her coaching approach is strength-based and founded on the values of authenticity and diversity. Betty lives in Littleton, Colorado, with her husband, their teenage son, and their dog Scooby. She holds a MS in Material Science, a PhD in Process Engineering, and is a member of ICF Colorado.
