Online communication has pushed us all into participating from our homes, which has resulted in showing a bit more of ourselves than we might feel comfortable with. In addition, the technology can be daunting: cameras, microphones, headsets, lighting, virtual backgrounds, and so on. The good news is that once you set up your "studio", it becomes effortless to engage with confidence!
Carl will share his recommendations based on what he's learned this year, then we will invite everyone to share their best practices and play around a bit.
- Audio - microphone, speakers, headsets, sound treatments
- Video - camera, lighting, background
- One or two monitors on your computer
- Zoom settings - name, picture
- Virtual backgrounds
- Participating via computer, smartphone or tablet
Your takeaway will be a custom plan for how you would like to set up YOUR computer and environment for the kind of presence you wish to communicate.
ICF-CO training for skills in Zoom, presentations, and online events
Many of our members have recognized the need to increase our skills in participating in, presenting, and organizing online events. And since this is what we've been living in 2020, we decided to create a forum for learning and sharing best practices!
These sessions will be recorded as free resources for ICF-CO members.
